Food Truck and Catering Professional for Samples

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in and execute private events and catering
• Work 3-4 shifts/week in the food truck
• Prepare food truck equipment for use during service. i.e. fryer, oven, etc...
• Ready station for service to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
• Prepare quality menu products from scratch in an efficient and professional manner in accordance with recipes and established standards.
• Take orders and determine what menu items to prepare and use time management to determine pacing of each order.
• Communicates frequently and professionally with other cooks, managers, and other team members.
• Follows all applicable safety and health department guidelines to ensure a sanitary and safe working environment at all times.
• Displays an interest in and passion for food and its origins.
• Performs closing duties at the end of each shift to ensure cleanliness of the food truck kitchen and preparation for the next day's service.
• Drive a large vehicle and follow all Motor Vehicle Laws and Regulations
• Potential for kitchen prep shifts

Qualifications:

• Possess a positive and outgoing attitude
• Ability to effectively work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong knowledge of back-of-the-house operations
• Must have open availability
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant's trading area.
• Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a cash register or POS system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to embrace change and demonstrate continuous flexibility
• Must be competent and willing to perform Non-Violent Crisis Intervention physical managements as trained
• Able to perform the physical demands of the position

Salary:

$750 - $1100 / Week (Including Tips) + Benefits

Bonus: Based off of Food Truck Sales and Food Truck Labor
