Cut Fruit Clerk - Part-time

A Cut Fruit Clerk will assist customers in their shopping experience by keeping the salad bar stocked with fresh, high quality product in the most efficient, friendly, and courteous manner possible. A Cut Fruit Clerk will also assist in maintaining product of pre-cut produce items that are prepared and packaged by individuals in this position.

CUT FRUIT CLERK DUTIES

1. Unloading pallets and stocking produce sales area with incoming items.
2. Maintaining current knowledge of government health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
3. Addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional, courteous manner and following through to the best possible resolution.
4. Assisting customers in locating items as needed.
5. Know and implement the Cosentino's Customer Service Standards.
6. Be knowledgeable about department products, procedures, and policies.
7. Promote new items and weekly specials through merchandising and creative displays.
8. Prepare, display, and package value added contents in a safe, visually appealing manner.
9. Utilize proper rotation techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Previous produce experience preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must-have for this position.
3. Able to maintain a calm, courteous demeanor when addressing customer complaints or concerns.
4. Able to multi-task and function well in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong customer service mentality.
6. Able to repeatedly lift 40 lbs. on a daily basis.
