Seasonal Product Sorter/Inventory Worker
Express Employment Professionals in Oregon City are seeking candidates to fill Sorter positions at the Fred Meyer Reclamation Center. This critical role will commonly perform routine tasks in a fast-paced warehouse-like environment. Ideal candidates are reliable and dependable, willing to work within a team or independently. Maintaining a strong attention to detail, and being are a self-starter will help you land a full time job with Fred Meyer reclamation. Previous experience with cashiering is a great asset to the team. This role works internally with other staff and management to complete production goals on a daily and weekly basis. This is a full time with overtime, evaluation to hire position.
Specific Job Duties:
- Read alphanumeric sequences
- Open cardboard boxes and sort product
- Pull product from shipping containers
- Sort product according to descriptions and coding
- Work on a team to ensure daily quota is met
- Use a box cutter to break down cardboard boxes
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail
- Candidates must be able to safely lift up to 30lbs.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Continuously lift 15lbs
- Walk, bend, twist and stand for a minimum of 10 hours a shift
- Work in a safe manner, to keep themselves and others safe
- Reliable transportation is required, there is NO public transportation access to this location
