The Project Manager is responsible for developing solutions that will provide new functionality and services to our customers. The Project Manager is accountable for producing and tracking to the project scheduling and communicating status on progress. This role provides a single point of contact in the project and is responsible for seeing the functionality through implementation. The Project Manager works closely with the business Vice President and partners with other areas of the business and support departments to understand dependencies and any potential impacts to the project timeline. This opportunity provides unique career development opportunities and exposure to the day-to-day issues and decision-making processes of executive management.
Responsible for managing projects for an entire cross functional Merchant business

  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Partners with Buyers and Vendors to Champion innovation projects and plan new ideas from inception to execution
  • Develops close partnership with the VP to help them fulfill their existing responsibilities as well as develop and define their future priorities
  • Interacts with various Sears Holdings Corporation support departments necessary to build and align teams
