Hamburg Gaming, located on the Erie County Fairgrounds, is a destination for excitement and entertainment!  This New York Gaming facility sprawls out over 55,000 square feet and features more than 940 gaming machines.  Our premier New York Gaming facility also boasts a range of delectable dining options including the Blue Ribbon Grill, Cyclone Bar and Tim Hortons.

 

The Opportunity

Assists management in carrying out daily operations of food & beverage department.

  • Supervises personnel, including assigning duties, training, coaching and counseling.
  • Ensures proper stock of beer, soda, food and other products are in their appropriate locations.
  • Maintains daily awareness of product needs; determines quantities required to adequately stock commissary.
  • Oversees inventory control including receiving shipments, disposing outdated material and cycle counting.
  • Oversees and/or sets up machines and equipment.
  • Oversees the proper closing of assigned area.
  • Enforces company policies and safety regulations.
  • Assists management in interviewing and selection of candidates for commissary positions.
  • Handle and respond to associate issues; work directly with the Human Resource Department to handle associate issues.
  • Oversee departmental training.

A successful candidate will :

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalency.
  • Be able to obtain a NYS Lottery Gaming License.
  • Be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Have 2+ years food & beverage experience.

A successful candidate may:

  • Have 2+ years supervisory experience.
  • Possess a 2 year degree preferred.
  • Be comfortable working cooperatively with others.
  • Have strong leadership skills; ability to delegate and coach others.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal and guest service skills.
  • Have previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer system required.
