The Opportunity

Would you enjoy seeing individuals and families smile as they swim and play at our indoor water park?  We are searching for flexible and enthusiastic associates to ensure the safety of guests at Bucaneer Bay.  Come join our guest-oriented team!

As a lifeguard at Honey Creek Resort, you will have the opportunity to serve and work with a diverse group of people from all over the country and world.

Candidates must be willing to successfully pass Delaware North at Honey Creek Resort trainings specific to this postion, including a pre-employment background check.  Associates will be required to work evenings and weekends.  Schedules will vary.

Qualifications

Must be a certified lifeguard.  We will certify applicants if necessary.

Demonstrates an understanding of life-saving techniques to include the knowledge and ability to administer professional medical emergency treatment until additional professional assistance arrives.

Understanding of team decision-making process.

Ability to anticipate, recognize and manage an aquatic emergency.

Learn, apply and follow the mission, functions, policies, procedures and services of the organization.

Perform physical activities such as standing, walking bending, stooping and carrying light objects for varying periods of time.

Pay attention to detail and ability to think, reason and act quickly.

Effectively listen, speak, write and interact with the public and within work groups of diverse backgrounds.

Provide quality customer service through dedication to public service.
