The Opportunity

Job Details:
-Applicants must be able to work 4 P.M. to midnight on week nights and weekends for all scheduled events.
-All positions are part time
-Applicants must have reliable transportation that would not prohibit them from finishing entirety of shift. Pay Rate: $10.00

Summary:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, prepares food required for food service operation, restaurant and/or banquets, in accordance with the Company's GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
• Retrieves from storage areas all necessary items for preparation
• Prepares specific food items and stations; sets up for anticipated business
• Prepares food products according to Company's standards and specifications
• Maintains food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
• Labels, dates, and wraps food product, adhering to ServSafe procedures
• Maintains kitchen with minimal spillage and breakage
• Follows all safety, security, and kitchen procedures
• Communicated with chef for any specific instructions/training
Non-Essential Functions:
• Assists with set up and break down of banquets/concessions stand
• Assists with plating and running food for functions
• Assists dishwashers when needed
• Assists receiving clerk when needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
• Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment ware)
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to adhere to the Company's GuestPath Universal Service Standards
Physical Requirements:
• Frequent standing/walking for entire length of shift
• Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip etc. a variety of foods and liquids
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending and squatting
Environmental Working Conditions:
• Kitchen environment- noise levels may be moderate to high
• Exposed to variable temperatures, depending on the season; may work frequently in a hot and/or damp environment
• May be required to work in a confined space
• Hazards include, but not limited to, cuts from broken glass, metal cans, slipping and tripping
• Frequently immerses hands in water

Prior expereince as customer service, cashier, sales associate, host, hostess, or other part time food service related jobs are very helpful.
