The Opportunity

As a Catering Coordinator at Lambeau Field, you will have the opportunity to assist with the coordination and supervision of Special Events held at Lambeau Field.  With the variety of spaces we are able to offer, there are opportunities to host anything from corporate meetings to weddings to 1,000 + person events!

Position Summary

Supports the Special Events Department’s objectives in the production of all internal and external events, duties include coordinating and executing all logistical elements of events as well as communication and documentation with internal and external clients as well as the Green Bay Packers staff and vendor staff

 

Essential Functions:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of assigned catering events to include advance planning as well as event execution
  • Establish and maintain contact with the client or client’s representative for assigned events, determining client objectives and developing a plan for meeting those objectives
  • Communicate with Lambeau Field Atrium staff members and outside vendors to ensure the smooth coordination of all activities to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Conduct tours of the facility for clients and prospective clients at the request of and/or with Special Events staff
  • Make recommendations and assist with the development of operational policies, procedures, and service changes that will improve client satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • As necessary, budget for events according to client requirements and review invoices for accuracy
  • Maintain records of event detail
  • Ensure event activities are in compliance with applicable safety regulations and laws while resolving any compliance issues that may arise
  • Conduct post event evaluations and make recommendations for improvement on both the event and organizational level
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training

Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several employees simultaneously and plan ahead

  • Ability to lead and interact with diverse groups of individuals both internally and externally
  • Organized, able to prioritize, and strong time management skills
  • Creative out of the box thinker who is able to verbalize solutions
  • Fast paced and able to multi-task with strong recall memory in order to achieve and maintain high levels of activity
  • Able to adhere to deadline and be self motivated
  • Positive outlook and able to motivate staff to enhance the Packers experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and common office equipment

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent walking, throughout entire facility, for entire length of shift
  • Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
  • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds

Environmental Working Conditions

May be exposed to variable temperatures, including extreme heat and cold, depending on season
