The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager ensures proper receipt and redistribution of perishable and non perishable items.  Oversees the delivery of stock to all Concession stands, portables and commissaries in accordance with Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.

 

Essential Functions:

 

• Sets a proper example through reporting to work at the scheduled time in complete uniform with clothing and personal appearance neat and clean.  Presents a cooperative work attitude and accepts job responsibilities.
• Ensures personnel meet appearance standards and follow all uniform guidelines.
• Schedules personnel on an event basis with the approval of the Manager.  Verifies attendance of all personnel.
• Trains personnel in all aspects of the operation.
• Directs staff in delivering food & beverages and other products throughout the ballpark in a timely manner.  Ensures that all product deliveries are properly placed and securely stored to alleviate theft.
• Ensures quality products and correct temperature of hot and cold food and beverage products.
• Must know forklift safety rules and be able to operate a forklift to unload deliveries and distribute stock in the warehouse.
• Ensures that adequate levels of stock/supplies are maintained.  Notifies the Manager immediately of stock shortages.
• Receives and unpacks all supplies and shipped goods.  Identify damages and shortages in shipments.  Ensures stock is properly accounted for and receiving paperwork is accurate.
• Ensures beginning and ending inventory counts are accurate.  Investigates discrepancies in inventories.  Completes inventory reports.
• Efficiently and accurately completes assigned paperwork.
• Collects trash and disposes of it properly.
• Ensures all TABC laws, rules and regulations are followed.
• Reports all needed repairs to management.
• Reports all safety concerns immediately.  Ensures unsafe areas are secured.
• Observes, evaluates and documents job performances of all employees.  Recommends personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, disciplinary action and discharges.
• Analyzes and resolves all problems, seeking assistance if needed from management.
• Ensures that all company policies are followed by employees.  May assist department manager with interviewing personnel.  Many assist the Sportservice Management staff with general and department specific orientations and training sessions.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 

• Must be pleasant, courteous with ability to adhere to the Company’s GuestPath Universal Service Standards

• Basic math skills for counting inventory

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience required.

 

Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements:

 

• Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 150 lbs. and pull heavy carts of stock
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during entire length of shift

 

Environmental Working Conditions:

 

• Warehouse environment, noise level may be moderate to high.
• Exposed to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold depending on the season.
• Exposed to fumes from delivery trucks and other equipment.
