Forklift Operator/Order Puller
LOCATION: N Portland
• SALARY: $14 per hour
JOB DESCRIPTION: Company located on Swan Island is currently seeking 1-2 qualified Forklift/Order pullers to join their team. This is a temp to hire position and the hours are 9:30am – 6pm with the possibility of working overtime when needed.
Qualifications:
• Must have at least 2 years Shipping & Receiving experience
• Must have at least 2 years sit-down propane forklift experience
• Standup forklift experience is beneficial but not required.
• Must have keen attention to detail and reading labels
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• An effective communicator is needed in a team environment
JOB DUTIES:
• Loading trucks for shipping, taking pictures of freight, and signing BOL
• Receiving freight and signing BOL
• Order pulling
• Container unloading – must be able to team lift up to 50lbs
• Wrapping and banding pallets
• Forklift work along with light assembly – palletizing of product- wrapping and banding of pallets
• Quality control work
• General warehouse clean up
• This is not a 100% forklift driving position.
