Nurse Practitioner - Community Based Behavioral Health - New Grads Welcome to Apply - Full-time

The Eliot Center of Lynn is seeking a full and/or part time strengths based/recovery focused Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide Psychopharmacology to adult clients and consultation/collaboration within the team and community providers. Excellent opportunity to join a talented and supportive multidisciplinary team that consists of licensed therapists, state/grant funded outreach and case management services, recovery/peer specialists, Psychiatric NP and RN staff, and emergency services. Evidenced based practices to treat addiction and PTSD include Expressive Art Therapy, Mindfulness/Yoga, EMDR (level 2), TF-CBT, Cognitive Restructuring, and Motivational Interviewing. New graduates receive caseloads that are paced thoughtfully and appropriately. Responsibilities: Collaborative member of multidisciplinary team to foster recovery. Provide medication evaluation and monitoring and administration of psychopharmacologic agents and their side effects to clients and their families. Order and reviews any necessary lab procedures. Provide consultation services, including evaluating non-psychiatric and physical health problems and making referrals, when appropriate. Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans in accordance with Utilization Review standards, sound clinical practice, and in collaboration with client and clinician.
