1919 Kitchen & Tap Restaurant General Manager - Full-time / Part-time

Gastropub inside Lambeau Field is the NFL's most iconic building - 1919 Kitchen & Tap Restaurant. The gastropub is a tribute to the year the team was organized – 1919. The restaurant focuses on a locally sourced menu that will evolve with the seasons while pairing with locally brewed beverages. Interested applicants should have previous experience in opening a high volume restaurant, menu creation and a sincere drive for great food and service.

The Opportunity

The Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for:

• Directing, implementing & maintaining a guest service and management philosophy that serves as a guide to respective team members.
• Scheduling, training and development of associates
• Coordinating menus, handling guest relations and monitor adherence to quality assurance standards.
• Ordering & maintaining all inventories for the area: maintaining cost control efforts for labor & waste management.
• Conducting meetings to update staff on daily goals & objectives.
• Preparing various operational reports.

We are seeking 5-7 years restaurant management experience in a high volume venue, with an emphasis in a gastropub atmosphere and experience with banquets and/or catering functions.

• Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures.
• Experience in food preparation, inventory and cost control, scheduling and purchasing.
• Familiar with standard food and beverage equipment.
• Excellent verbal communication and supervisory skills.
• Experience with Micros POS, Word, Excel & Timekeeping system.
