Summary:

• Implements the learning and development programs across two distribution centers (Worcester & Woburn)
• Considers the individual Distribution centers’ L&D and Talent Management needs and how that fits into the overall Distribution network leadership development strategy.
• Provides management with guidance, training and tools to develop themselves and their direct reports.
• Partners with building leadership teams to determine any specific training needs for their areas.
• Makes recommendations based on both facility and network needs; both for leadership development and functional requirements.
• Partners, collaborates and communicates with the Managers of Human Resources in the Distribution Centers and other L&D Managers within the network regarding all learning and development, leadership development and talent management programs.
• Shares best practices across the network. Manages and develops L&D Specialists to meet organizational needs of associates within the facility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Business or related field or equivalent job experience.
• Experience managing and monitoring the implementation of all learning and development, leadership development and talent management activities
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Knowledge of conducting needs analyses, instructional course design, Adult Learning Theory, Coaching skills including the ability to give positive and constructive.
• Knowledge of DC operations and procedures.
• Bilingual a plus.
