If you answered yes to these questions, the perfect position is awaiting you with Garden Elegance in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina.

True to its name, Garden Elegance is making its mark on the South Carolina Lowcountry as one of Charleston’s premier garden design, installation, and maintenance companies. Owner Kelly Megeath and her team of designers and support staff are looking for gardeners to join their expert team. You will have the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up while working on some of the most gorgeous properties in downtown Charleston, Kiawah Island, Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, and more.

As a Gardner, you will contribute to Garden Elegance’s success by:

  • Planting, cultivating, pruning, fertilizing and general plant health care
  • Installing and maintaining irrigation
  • Operating equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, hedgers, and blowers
  • Excelling on a landscape crew before advancing to foreman, then manager, and ultimately designer positions
  • Learning the art and the business from one of the premier horticulturists in the Southeast

To truly make your mark at Garden Elegance, you will complement our expert team with the following:

  • Degrees in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, or Horticulture
  • Passion for beautifying properties of all shapes and sizes
  • Pro-active approach to work, including foresight into potential problems and initiative to solve them creatively
  • Desire to learn all facets of a renowned landscape business
  • Understanding of plant and flower types, including proper planting, fertilizing, pruning, irrigating, and other maintenance
  • Knowledge of plant materials, irrigation systems, and landscape equipment
  • Willingness to work 40 hours per week, as well as overtime during peak seasons
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license
