CDL Driver

The Driver will be reporting our client at the start on their shift to get their ticket and load their truck for the day's route. The driver must understand that they need to load the truck in the "stop order" for efficiency. Prior to leaving the candidate must conduct a pre-inspection of the truck and when returned to our client they must perform a post-inspection. the driver will be responsible for unload the trucks per stop. Piece/Case Delivery of 350-600 per day to 8-12 customer locations. Must fill out Log Books properly as well.

Must Haves:
1) Minimum of 1 year of CDL driving experience
2) Experience utilizing a Hand Truck on stairs and ramps
3) Ability to lift 50-60lbs throughout the day

Responsible for:
- Loading and Unloading your truck daily
- Utilizing Hand Trucks and Pallet Jacks
- Pre & Post truck inspection
- Understanding "Hours of Service" (How many hours are allowed to work per day/week)
- Proper documentation of Log Books
- Candidates must understand they are not just delivering to a doorstep or loading doc... They are responsible for bringing the delivery directly inside and stocking the item where the customer requests.
