Job Description:

A growing Civil Engineering firm located in downtown Indianapolis has an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer. This firm is a tight-knit group of professionals that work on a variety of transportation, storm water/wastewater, and construction inspection projects throughout the state of Indiana. This person will work under a Sr. Project manager on a variety of civil engineering projects: Transportation, Site Development, Stormwater and Wastewater.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting in Drainage design and permitting (primarily for site design projects)
• Assisting in Hydraulic modeling for stormwater and site design
• Assisting in Quantity computation and cost estimation for projects
• Utility coordination
• CAD Drafting and Design using Civil 3D

Qualifications:

• BS of Civil Engineering from accredited college or university
• 0-4years' experience in Transportation stormwater/wastewater engineering or other municipal engineering projects
• Indiana EIT that is working towards PE.

Work Environment:

Located downtown Indianapolis in an office suite. This person will work in an office and the Jr. Engineers/CAD Techs will work in a cubicle environment. The atmosphere is laid back, but there are project deadlines that need to be met. They are a tight-knit group of professionals that work on a variety of transportation, storm water/wastewater and construction inspection projects throughout the state of Indiana and is strategically growing. They perform a lot of work with the City of Indianapolis and Citizens Energy Group. 10-15 people in the company with 4-5 of them working out in the field.

Pay Rate:

$50,000-60,000/year with Competitive Benefits

Hours:

-8am-5pm, but flexible.

-Some OT may be required during project deadlines.

-Will be given $65 monthly parking reimbursement for parking assistance downtown.
