BASIC PURPOSE: The ideal candidate who will be selected for this position will be responsible for configuring, administering, and providing support for store endpoint using various configuration management tools. Candidate will work with various teams and our customers to provide support, issue resolution, and metrics for our store endpoints.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, configure, and prepare operating system for deployment to store system
  • Administrative role in endpoint management software
  • Work with other teams to install, configure, and prepare application packages for retail systems
  • Strong ability in testing, configuring, and implementing various configuration tools
  • Monitor and report on compliancy reports
  • Widows updates, PCI, 3rd party updates
  • Research and improve endpoint images based on customer and business requirements
  • Monitor/resolve support tickets related to endpoint configuration
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups with customers to ensure resolutions remain successful
  • Enforce/Document Change Management Process
  • Reporting and metrics documentation
  • Create and update knowledgebase documentation
  • Ability to work well in team environments
  • User support administrative duties
  • Other duties assigned as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum Experience:
  • 1-2 years experience with Endpoint Management
  • Windows 7, Windows 10, etc.
  • Knowledge in writing scripts to automate tasks
  • Preferred Experience:
  • 3-5 years Endpoint Management
  • VMWare (Mirage, vCM, etc) experience
  • PowerShell
  • Apple

  • Typical Physical Demands:
  • On-call availability as needed.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Lifting and transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand and power tools, and to handle other computer components.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
