A 1st Shift CNC Operator is needed for a well-established Manufacturing and Distribution company in Island Lake. This is an evaluation hire position. Multiple openings available for the 1st shift. The hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm with a pay rate ranging from $16.00-$19.00 an hour depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a 1st Shift CNC Operator:
- Operate and maintain machines--lubricate, cool, and clean
- Replace and offset tooling equipment
- Adjust measurements as needed
- Load/unload material into the machine
- Inspect and Measure completed products using gauges, calipers, and micrometers
- Read/Follow blueprints to ensure quality parts are being made
Qualifications of a CNC Operator:
- Entry level opportunity for those who at the Community College level
- At least 6 months of experience
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Familiar with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
