Bank Teller

Community Bank in Huntley, IL is looking for a Bank Teller to join their growing team. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity with a small town community bank.

Job Summary: Under supervision, greets clients in a friendly manner and processes client transactions quickly and accurately. The teller addresses clients'' questions and concerns and if needed refers clients to appropriate internal resources for resolution. Looks for cross selling opportunities during client interactions and refers to designated department.

Bank Teller Responsibilities:

• Adheres and embraces the Vision, Core Values, and Mission of the bank
• Strict adherence to bank''s documented Service Standards
• Greet/recognize and welcome all guests and visitors entering or leaving the bank
• Answer and transfer phone calls as needed
• Process financial transactions for clients quickly and with 100% accuracy
• Monitor cash to stay below stated limits
• Balance cash drawer, vault and ATM daily
• Process TT&L payments daily
• Buy and sell currency and coin to the vault
• Process loan payments
• Process mail, night drop, courier bags and coin order accurately
• Other duties as assigned

Bank Teller Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 2 years related banking experience preferred
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi task, prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
• Attention to details

Compensation: $13/hr
