PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Support the growth of beverage as the fourth leg of Sheetz business. Manage development of all new and improved beverage including Sheetz Bros. Coffee, Self-Serve Coffee, Fountain and Ice Cream. Support beverage sales strategy by developing products and processes that allow our operators to deliver a consistent quality product. Develop forward thinking ideas that focus on meeting consumer needs in order to keep Sheetz ahead of competition.

- Manage bench top and test store implementation of beverage projects in support of our beverage sales strategy.
- Creating memorable products that keep our brand top of mind for customers.
- Work cooperatively with purchasing, production, and vendors to identify opportunities to improve product quality and consistency.
- Develop ingredients that enhance/broaden our customer's opportunity for customization.
- Partner with operations and learning to create products and process that enhance store level associates opportunity to learn and execute our beverage programs.
- Align area objectives with the strategic goals of the Department.
- Monitor annual budgets for assigned area of responsibility to maximize profitability.

Education
- Degree in Food Science or Culinary Arts
- Minimum of 5 years of R&D Experience within a restaurant concept or lead ingredient supplier
- Experienced with all types of beverage ingredients and equipment
