This position is responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations.  This position performs complex data entry and related operations in posting accounts receivable payments.  Maintains appropriate ledgers.  Resolves credit balances and account problems; posts refunds, adjustments, and other account actions. 

  • Reconcile daily cash collected / voucher reconciliation
  • Process daily deposits on all company accounts
  • Post all accounts receivable collections
  • Balance daily credit card transactions and handle inquiries/disputes
  • Process credit applications
  • Prepare rate spreadsheets for internal and external use
  • Attend monthly sales meetings as department liaison
  • Liaison for RRTP accounts, gift certificate, and CME Priority programs
  • Reservation system database integrity
  • Provide supplemental training for reservations agents
  • Assist EVP of Finance and Administration with month end close
  • Accounts Receivable aging analysis
  • Support for financial analysis
  • Support for annual budget process
  • Prepare payroll deductions for housing
  • Manage housing leases and/or revenue spreadsheet
  • Invoice preparation for reservation system, CME Destinations West and outside contracts
  • Tour operator liaison for contracts, rates, partner site training, etc.
  • Research credit card disputes and/or chargebacks and respond according to various credit card policies
  • Research uncleared driver collects
  • Maintain support tables in reservation system for vouchers, special services and source codes
  • Prepare published rate sheets for rack and net rates in reservations system database
  • Cross train and ability to assist in other departments
  • Other duties as assigned

 

 

Preferred/required skills:

  • Accounting education preferred
  • Accounting experience preferred
  • Advanced skills with Excel a plus (pivot tables, v-lookup, merge tables, etc.)
  • Comfortable with web-based programs preferred
  • Excellent communication skills necessary
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to work well with clients, staff, and upper management
