About this job

DISH is a Fortune 200 company with more than $15 billion in annual revenue that continues to redefine the communications industry. Our legacy is innovation and a willingness to challenge the status quo, including reinventing ourselves. We disrupted the pay-TV industry in the mid-90s with the launch of the DISH satellite TV service, taking on some of the largest U.S. corporations in the process, and grew to be the fourth-largest pay-TV provider. We are doing it again with the first live, internet-delivered TV service – Sling TV – that bucks traditional pay-TV norms and gives consumers a truly new way to access and watch television.

Now we have our sights set on upending the wireless industry and unseating the entrenched incumbent carriers.

We are driven by curiosity, pride, adventure, and a desire to win – it’s in our DNA. We’re looking for people with boundless energy, intelligence, and an overwhelming need to achieve to join our team as we embark on the next chapter of our story.

Opportunity is here. We are DISH.

A successful Talent Acquisition Project Manager has the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university (or 4 years of related experience and/or training); 2+ years of project management experience; Talent Acquisition experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional presentation skills, including the ability to present to, communicate with, and influence all levels of our Fortune 200 company
  • Advanced level of computer expertise, specifically MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and applicant tracking systems (previous experience with iCIMS a plus)
  • A curious affinity for data analysis and overall application; we use data in every decision we make
  • Excellent project management skills capability, specifically in an extremely fast-paced, ambiguous, competitive, and rapidly changing environment

Working as part of the DISH Talent Acquisition team (TAT), the TA Project Manager will work closely with the TAT Management team and will be pivotal to the ongoing success of the operation. Success in this role calls for someone who thrives in times of continuous change, who is energized by fast-paced decision making and execution, and who can drive projects across the finish line while building excellent relationships with key stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage our applicant tracking system (iCIMS), including: improving user experience/efficiency, generating reports, implementing third-party integrations, enhancing branding capabilities, monitoring consistency, reducing waste, and constantly ensuring we are using the system to its fullest capability
  • Oversee the DISH Careers website in conjunction with our IT department to continuously improve the candidate experience
  • Facilitate the completion of various projects focused on improving the Talent Acquisition function as whole; driving deadlines on current outstanding projects, gaining buy-in from key stakeholders in the business, building interdepartmental teams/feedback loops, and anticipating future needs
  • Be a student of the industry – understanding every aspect of our talent needs at DISH and sourcing new technologies, processes, integrations, or enhancements we should be aware of
