A successful Senior Scrum Product Owner will possess the following:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field and 5 or more years of experience as a Scrum Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Team Lead or a related position; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3 or more years of experience in an Agile software development environment
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational and communication skills are essential

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for building great products, continuous improvement, software engineering, technology, TV, movies and Scrum
• Ability to manage multiple projects, activities and tasks simultaneously with little supervision
• Ability to work under pressure with many assigned tasks and hard deadlines
• 3 or more years of experience in a Scrum software development environment
• Scrum Product Owner or ScrumMaster certification
• Experience with video-over-IP/OTT services
• Experience with data access layer/backend product development

We are looking for a dynamic Product Owner to contribute to our PMO.  We are looking for someone to help us deliver innovative and inspiring solutions for our diverse client base.  Working with us means you'll lead high performing teams on a variety of software developement projects, apply your broad-base technical, client facing and industry expertise to create practical and innovative solutions.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories: 

• Develop an intimate understanding of customer needs, manage all stakeholder input, and use this knowledge to guide product decisions
• Create and maintain features and user stories in the team and sprint backlogs so that the product effectively addresses user needs while maintaining robustness, redundancy, and scalability
• Work with the Scrum Master to lead daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, backlog refinement, sprint demos, and retrospectives
• Work closely with counterparts in Product Management and internal stakeholders to align on the vision, program backlog, and roadmap
• Prioritize the backlog according to business goals and objectives while focusing on building and delivering the most value within the constraints of time and resources
• Periodically analyze the production system to expose weaknesses and work with the team to find ways to re-design for greater success
• Become extremely knowledgeable about the team's products in order to effectively act as the funnel for all innovation inquiries
• Orchestrate the population of a team knowledge repository with production information, takeaways, techniques, and tutorials
• Actively participate in retrospective discussions to help continuously improve our methods
• Work with team to create innovative solutions that help resolve technical debt in a large distributed software system
• Work with the team to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production defects in the customer environment
