It's an exciting time to be part of team HEXPOL, if you're interested in joining our success story, please Click Apply Essential Job Functions: Responsible for reading all instructions on each production order to ensure adherence to current customer requirements and the Company Quality Policy Ability to clean tools and maintain tool boards Responsible for practicing safe work habits and reporting unsafe conditions/ actions to the area supervisor/manager Meet and exceed goals as set by Supervisor Produce the highest Quality Product with no scrap Keep work station and surrounding area clean and organized Ability to trouble shoot problem products, submit process changes Adhere to Safety Rules and Facility Work Rules Ensure materials are weighed, mixed, milled, strained (if necessary), and packaged according to Customer specifications Complete required paperwork for each Production Order Communicate with supervisor on any process changes or problems Work with various software programs (i.e., Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Excel; Examples: Daisy, Widra, MDR Rheo, Enterprise Keep empty black boxes organized and stacked properly Keep empty wire baskets organized and stacked properly Keep boxes or baskets made up for both lines Consolidate and organize Masterbatch area daily Assist both lines with changeovers Verify scales each day as required using hand weights and report any problems Ensure materials are weighed and mixed according to Customer specifications Operate Mixer computer and control functions Operate and communicate using intercom system and two-way radio Pour up and empty oil drums and totes Stage materials for mixer according to the production planning guide Keep cleaning batch area organized and maintained Responsible for maintaining and using company resources wisely Standing: Required to stand in a stationary position while performing job duties (approximately 12 hours per shift) Walking: Required to walk to-and-from break room and in work area to obtain products needed to perform job duties Stair climbing: Required to climb stairs to elevated work stations as needed. Balance: Good balance needed to work around chemical containers, conveyors, machinery, forklifts and moving equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and lift arms overhead while performing job duties Weight: Must be able to lift and manage a weight of 75 lbs /34 kgs, as required Coordination: Good hand/eye coordination needed to perform job duties. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and lift arms overhead. Non-Essential Job Functions Participate in all assigned Ergonomic activities unless otherwise specified Participate in LEAN Management activities and 6S System Participate in Safety meetings when required Qualifications Required For Job: Knowledge: Requires the ability to perform basic math such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing as well as the ability to speak, read and write coherently. High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Forklift experience is preferred. Aptitude: Requires a relatively high degree of concentration and attention to detail at all times (especially while weighing and loading raw materials).
