Victim Advocate - Part-time

Victim Advocate Summit County is currently recruiting for a part-time Victim Advocate. Will be working less than 20 hours per week. This position is to help reduce trauma to victims and witnesses of crime, promote trust and communication between victims, prosecutors and law enforcement, while respectfully and objectively protecting victims rights. Prepare victims for court, provide court accompaniment and notify victims of future court proceedings, including updates of their offenders case. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Social Services or a closely related field and no experience necessary. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred and must be able to pass an extensive background investigation. Salary range: $17.83 - $24.97/hr.
