As we expand our service availability we are recruiting for a Part Time Dispatch / Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) Specialist. This position is responsible for providing communications and support for field technicians. Responsible for assuring scheduled installations and trouble service calls are responded to in an efficient manner so that customer satisfaction and field productivity goals are met. This position will also prepare Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) (cable boxes, cable cards and modems) for installation in the field. Additionally, this position will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of business inventory. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Update and maintain records of daily work.Track progress and check work status of field technicians to ensure the timely servicing of customer orders.Contact technicians to communicate the need for installation, service or disconnect work.Process credit card payments and collect money from installs.Provide a point of contact for network and customer care to field technicians.Coordinate with drop bury contract.Verify service and installation orders are correct and make any necessary corrections.Modifies work orders in response to changes from Technicians or customers, to correct errors, and when new products or features are sold during the customer visit.Identifies and responds to issues that could present safety concerns to TechniciansAssists Techs with CPE diagnostics and/or work order completion.Identifies and dispatches available resources based on needed expertise, customer dynamics and employee skill set to provide on-site customer support.Ensure daily schedule is completed.Receive and process new equipment into inventory.Receive and process customer and installation technician equipment returns.Clean and test returned equipment from the customer for re-provisioning.Obtain RMAs (Return Materials Authorization) and send broken equipment back to supplier for warranty work or repairs.Prepare, assign and load equipment into warehouse staging area for minimum truck stock requirements.Update cancelled customer accounts to reflect charges for non-returned equipment.Support finance in monthly audits and billing system.Update equipment records and maintain status of CPE at all times.MUST be able to work a flexible schedule. Shift will fall between the hours of 8am and 8pm, Monday through Friday. Some Saturdays may be required. Education and minimum qualifications (Skills required): High School diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to meet established deadlines are required for success in this position.Ability to sit for long periods of time while viewing a computer screen.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications. Previous experience with Excel preferred.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to be trained and certified in forklift operation within 90 days of employment.Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
