General Radiologist

Fellowship trained radiologist with general skills sought to join our growing 30+ radiologist private practice at a large teaching hosptial in Springfield Massachusetts. General skills required for rotations based on CT, US, and Plain Films. In addition, we are of a size large enough to allow you to practice your specialty skills in most areas. We are semi-subspecialized and there is no specific expectation for the following skills, unless they are part of your Fellowship training or an establishd high quality skill you prefer: Nuclear, Pediatrics, MSK, Body MRI, Neuro, MRI, IR. Screening and Diagnostic Breast is not required but is considered a plus. Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA is a 700+ bed hosptial, and a Level 1 Trauma Center with a 110 bed ER. It is a regional campus of the University of Massachusetts Medical School. There are 4 residents a year and teaching is an important part of this position. In addition to the main hospital we serve three affiliated smaller hospitals and several outpatient facilites, all connected by same PACS and EMR and working off shared worklists. A full time position is offered. We also encourage applicants wishing to work part time and are unusual in offering a part time partnership track from Day 1. Part time partners have equal stability and voting rights as full partners. We value stability and do not hire non-partnerhsip track except at applicant's request. The Pioneer Valley is conveniently located with easy access to Cape Cod, Vermont, Boston, New Yourk City, and the Berkshires.
