OVERVIEW:
Working as a Full-Time Route Driver (DOT-Class B CDL), you will be representing the Fastenal fleet as it delivers from its Distribution Center in Winona, MN. We offer on-the-job training with an excellent compensation package that includes a guaranteed salary, mileage and stop pay, and a $2000.00 sign on bonus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
oProviding excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient manner
oInteracting with our shipping and receiving departments
oMaintaining a clean work environment within our equipment
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
oExcellent written and oral communication skills
oPossess or are currently in progress of obtaining a Class B Commercial Driver's License
oPossess a current Health Card OR have the ability to obtain one
oPossess a current Haz Mat endorsement OR have the ability to obtain one within 90 days
oAbility to meet Fastenal driving record requirements
oPossess strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a CDL Driver
oAbility to maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service (HOS) paperwork
oWillingness and ability to drive interstate routes across state lines
oAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. and maneuver up to 150 lbs
oAbility to successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification, and background check
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Prior driving work experience
o Experience operating a forklift.
