Perform front desk activities, such as unlocking doors, starting computer, and answering the phone.
Greet patient and enter patient health insurance information and collect current or past due payment amount(s).
Call physician offices to confirm test orders and file records according to policy.
Requirements
Requires a High School Diploma, additional preferences - 1 year health care data entry, medical insurance experience. Requires data entry test with a minimum of 3000 keystrokes/hour with less than 10% error rate.
