Active Directory/SSO Engineer

Job Summary:

We're looking for an Active Directory engineer with experience in SSO. This role involves design, installation, and support of Microsoft Active Directory, ADFS, SSO, and user provisioning systems in a multi-domain, multi-forest enterprise environment. You will be working with SaaS providers, internal web developers, software vendors and business unit stakeholders to implement federation and identity automation via industry standard protocols as well as custom built solutions. Cleveland Clinic is a 24x7 information technology shop, so you must be willing to work occasional nights, weekends and holidays.

* Responsibilities:

* Contributes to the design, engineering and implementation of systems infrastructure.

* Installs and maintains operating systems and related software.

* Manages and monitors enterprise systems environment.

* Troubleshoots and resolves problems in the systems environment.

* Applies proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, communicate and resolve issues.

* Other duties as assigned.

Education:

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Certifications:

* Appropriate industry credentials may be required.

Complexity of Work:

* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience:

* At least three years' work experience in a technical/analytical position responsible for managing server environments.

* For IT Security, minimum three years' work experience in a technical/analytical position in risk/compliance areas.

Preferred Experience:

* 3+ years of experience working in a medium to large enterprise server environment with Active Directory Domain Services .

* 3+ years of experience working with Group Policy Intermediate Level PowerShell scripting experience

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and collaboration skills

* 2+ years of experience working with Active Directory Federated Services

* Solid experience integrating Active Directory with any of the following technologies: FIM/MIM, Identity Lifecycle Manager, Saviynt, CyberArk, Sail point, Ping Federate, Okta SSO

* Knowledge of Information Technology best practices (e.g., ITIL) Exposure to server implementations of Linux Related industry standard certifications (MCSE, MCITP) preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

* Typical Physical demands include manual dexterity sufficient to operate basic office equipment. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.

Personal Protective Equipment:

* Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
