Dog Walker - Full-time / Part-time

As a dog walker with Fetch! Pet Care of Silver Spring you will:

• Spend time with lots of dogs
• Have access to a supportive staff
• Get on the job training

Fetch! Pet Care of Silver Spring is an established and award winning locally owned pet sitting company with over 10 years of experience. We service over 300 clients a month. Most of our sitters have been with Fetch! 4 or more years.

We are looking for responsible animal lovers with previous pet care experience (caring for your own pets, pets of friends and family or as a professional pet sitter; previous work experience as a vet tech or horse care experience is a plus). Our ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and work well independently.

To be considered for this position all applicants MUST:

• Have access to a reliable car with active insurance and possess a valid driver's license
• Be available to work Monday through Friday between 11 am and 3 pm and make a six-month commitment to working with Fetch!
• Be at least 18 years or older
• Own an iPhone or Android Smart Phone with text/picture messaging (SMS) and Internet access

This is a great opportunity for anyone with a flexible schedule (i.e. stay-at-home parents with school aged kids, retirees, grad students, freelancers, etc.)

Pay starts at $9.25/30 minute walk or visit. This is a part-time employee position. We provide ongoing, paid training and handle all marketing, client requests and billing. Pay typically ranges between $500-1500/month, plus tips.
