The Revenue Analyst position is responsible for all revenue recognition (accretion) activities as well as providing the support for the monthly cash collections journal entries. The position loads the collection forecasts, ensures actual collections are properly recorded in the accretion systems, and ensures that data is properly used to calculate revenue according to Company policies and procedures and GAAP. The position is also responsible for all related internal management reporting and external financial reporting which includes related SEC schedules and footnote disclosures. Responsibilities Develop, implement and update financial information systems to meet current and future reporting needs. 40% Develop and maintain monthly financial reports and revenue recognition models to support month-end and quarter end reporting process. 20% Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual and quarterly financial planning process; interface with the management reporting and planning group to update the financial forecasting models. 10% Participate in the quarterly revaluation of receivable portfolios and interface with the decision science group in the development of new collection forecasts. 10% Participate in the SEC reporting process as it relates to revenue recognition disclosures. 10% Provide analytical support in other financial areas requiring significant management estimates that impact the financial statements. 10% Qualifications Education: Required: Bachelor; Finance, Accounting, or Economics Preferred: Master/Advanced; MBA Languages: Required: English Work Experience: Required: 3 - 5 years experience in financial and/or operational analysis, forecasting or valuation analysis; 1-2 years experience in public accounting. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Access). Preferred: Experience with Windows-based accounting software (MAS9).
