Corporate Strategy Manager

The Corporate Strategy Manager is responsible for developing new and analyzing existing business strategies within the department as a creative analytical problem solver, capable of constructing effective analytical approaches to complex, quantitative business problems and generating data-supported solutions. The Mgr, Operations Analysis participates in defining the strategy for a team in a department, and can independently manage meaningful projects and work streams within that strategy. Responsibilities Define and execute analytical approach to solving complex business problems through data extraction and analysis. 20% Define reporting needs and monitor report to understand trends, issues and opportunities. 10% Develop and coach analytical resources on cross-functional teams. 10% Identify and implement new business strategies to improve profitability and ways to improve business processes. 30% Management of direct reports (reporting to the role) 2 10% Perform business / financial modeling, forecasting and budgeting. 20% Qualifications Education: Required: Bachelor; Quantitative / analytical field Preferred: Master/Advanced; Quantitative field preferred Languages: Required: English Work Experience: Required: 3 - 5 years business experience in a related field. 2+ years experience using SAS or SQL. Proficiency with MS Office including Excel. Preferred: Financial Services experience. Advanced proficiency with MS Office including Excel.
