About this job
The Manager of Regulatory Reporting manages the day to day regulatory and statutory reporting functions of the company, including requests from tax and legal. The position will coordinate and ensure the timely and accurate filing of quarterly and annual financial information required for licensing and statutory filings, and all data gathering required for financial statements for tax reporting and related financial statements and required disclosures. The position reports to Director, Financial Reporting and may have one direct report.
Responsibilities
Analyzes and interprets complex accounting and financial regulatory issues. 10%
Assist in developing financial reporting solutions and processes relating to regulatory/licensing based on specifications and needs, including standardization of templates and request forms. 20%
Collaborates with accounting and finance staffs and ensure accurate financial data for stand-alone financial statements. 10%
Coordinates reports, responses for data requests and other filings to regulatory agencies. 10%
Management of direct reports (reporting to the role). 5%
Partners with cross functional groups within the organization to ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting. 5%
Responsible for the accuracy and timely filing of all reporting for licensing, statutory reporting, and financial statements required for tax. Support related external audits (there are approximately 250 reports) including maintaining an active inventory which highlights required signature levels, audit firm relationships, and other requirements. 25%
Reviews reconciliations between US GAAP and local GAAP including obtaining reasonable support for all deltas. 5%
Reviews regulatory related work products from other areas of the organization to validate the factual and technical accuracy. 10%

Education:
Required: Bachelor’s; Finance, Accounting
Preferred: Master’s/Advanced
Languages:
Required: English
Work Experience:
Required: 6-8 years accounting or financial analysis. Ability to lead others through clear communication, coordination, project planning and project prioritization. Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Access). • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills • Self-motivated individual with ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and committed to success.
