The Food Service Associate (FSA) works in support of the store leadership team to facilitate the completion of all store level tasks and performs a variety of tasks related to different areas of the store including food service, customer service, general housekeeping and other related functions. The FSA ensures an exceptional customer experience for all Royal Farms customers.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

• Ensuring that every customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging customers, maintaining outstanding

  product knowledge and all other components of customer service

• Maintain and drive high standards and expectations around food quality, customer service, food safety, and store cleanliness

• Ensure the execution of all food service and beverage programs including product handling and display

• Execute food service efficiencies and ensure planograms are utilized and followed

• Replenish products and supplies to ensure the store is stocked at all times

• Complete all store side work (i.e., cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.)

• Highly effective communication

 

Qualifications:

 

• Understand that their success is based on the success of their teams, and aspire to make the people around them better than they are

• Have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Be able to interact easily with diverse employees

• No experience required

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Basic business math and decision-making skills

• Willing to work in both the deli and register areas
