Linen Distributor (Part-Time)

 

• We have an opening for a part-time Linen Distributor position.
• Location: South County Hospital - 100 Kenyon Avenue, Wakefield, RI 02879. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Weekends; 6:00AM - 2:30PM. 
• Requirement: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred.

Summary: Maintains and distributes laundry/linen inventory within the facility. Assists with cleaning functions as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completes daily inventory checks on laundry/linen inventory; determines needed quantities to meet required inventory levels.
• Distributes laundry/linen to specified areas.
• Notifies managers of inventory concerns.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; handles chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, and cleaning equipment in a safe and proper manner.
• Identifies safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have physical ability to walk and stand on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills- both written and verbal.
