Certified Home Health Aide CHHA Manalapan NJ - Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care has an opening  for a CHHA (Certifed Home Health Aides) with to work mornings Monday through Saturday with a female client in Manalapan.  The client requires minimal personal care. Apply only if you have a NJ CHHA license and a clean driving record. 

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Transportation to appointments
• Stand-by assistance for bathing

*Qualified candidates must have a HHA certification that is in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing*

Requirements to be a Certified Home Health Aide:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• Must have a current physical (within the past calendar year)
• One step PPD. If ou have had a positive PPD - we need a current chest xray from your doctor with the results and it must state that you had the chest xray done due to a positive PPD. The chest x-ray must be within the calendar year.
•  MMR Vaccination OR Rubella and Rubeola titers.
• Higher compensation for work on weekends.
