We are seeking a Database Developer to assist in organizing databases that support internal analytic functions, as well as transactional databases. This person may also write reports for internal department needs. Responsibilities will include writing procedures, applications, reporting and scripts that provide access to transactional databases, as well as transfer data to data warehouse. Responsibilities include programming, query tuning, automated script writing. Ideal candidate will be proficient in MS SQL 2008 - 2016 and have a good database programming background. Knowledge of SOAP technology is a plus. Candidate should be familiar with API interactions and development to gather and migrate data between systems. Knowledge of .Net Framework is helpful. B.S. in Computer Science or related field is required.

Responsibilities
- Perform ETL for transactional data into a reporting Data Warehouse
- Work with application developers and business analysts to develop data for new applications
- Assist DBA in structure design of OLTP systems as well as the Data Warehouse
- Manage replication of data across multiple systems. Ensure nightly data warehouse load is successful
- Write data access web services in .Net for communication between live transaction systems
- Assist in writing reports using MS Reporting Services. Fine tune queries for performance optimization.
- Assist in upgrade of databases to new versions and hardware
Qualifications
- 3-6 years’ experience in database or application development
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 through 2016
- Experience or Knowledge of SOAP
- Understanding of Transactions, Stored Procedures and Triggers
- Familiar with .Net Framework
- Microsoft Reporting Services
- Drive to learn quickly
- Standard SQL knowledge
- Attention to Detail and Quality Focused
- Ability to work with others to accomplish business objectives
- B.S. in Computer Science or Related Field
