About this job

Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Science, Engineering, environmental, or degree similar
- 4+ years of Safety experience
- 1-3 years of experience in natural gas Midstream or Production (well pad's, pipelines, compressor stations)

Job duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Manages, assists, plans and implements safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations
- Manages the successful integration of safety risk management opportunities into the business unit operations and processes
- Serves as a technical lead for safety issues and opportunities to include regulatory interfacing
- Work with Midstream business unit to coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly safety activities
- Leads and provides technical support to Midstream incident reporting, investigation and corrective action completion process
- Conducts internal safety audits and inspections - reviews processes for regulatory compliance and internal company expectations
- Prepare
- Manages, through development, planning and implementation, the safety training for employees
- Develops and presents key safety information including data trending analysis to the business teams to facilitate attainment of performance indicators and initiatives
- Provides safety emergency response planning and on-site event expertise
- Leads designated BU and company-wide safety programs
- Assists in the development and evaluation of safety programs
- Guides and assists personnel at locations with critical safety and health concerns
- Plans and directs safety and industrial hygiene monitoring activities
- Keeps apprised of developments in federal and state safety laws likely to affect the company
- Select and approve purchase of safety devices including personal protective equipment
- Provide reports, presentations and other information as needed to Senior Executives
- Lead the development of contractor site-specific plans and training to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Provides leadership for multiple contractor safety personnel.
