About this job
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for direct communication between factory and customer field sales personnel.
Responsibilities:
* Communicates with customers and gathers information regarding returned products.
* Tracks and reports on customer satisfaction issues obtained through returns and/or feedback tools.
* Desk assignment requires maintenance of all records for field returns from authorization through return shipment. Determines the general reason for the product return. Notifies the appropriate product line of the return and the reason for the return. Interfaces with the appropriate group (engineering, test, etc.) based on the reason for return. Monitors flow of materials and test results to ensure that corrective action is implemented in a timely manner.
* Notifies the customer of the corrective action that was taken. Initiates the shipment of replacement parts.
* Gathers, tracks and reports on customer satisfaction through surveys and/or other feedback tools.
* Maintain detailed return sales orders to allow management reports.
Minimum Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Familiarity with PC's and knowledge of EXCEL spreadsheet and word processing software required. Proven analytical skills required.
* Previous experience with order entry and or customer purchase orders desired.
Preferred Experience:
* SAP experience preferred
