About this job
The position will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Preparing customer approval drawings in Solidworks for custom orders.
2. Supporting Product Design Engineers and completing fabrication and assembly drawings for new product development.
3. Modify existing products or current designs to accommodate chassis models of different shapes and sizes.
4.Prepare bills of material and ECN documents for standard products as assigned by team lead.
Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field highly preferred.
2. Minimum 1 year experience of 3D mechanical drafting experience required.
3. Proficiency in Solidworks highly preferred. Will consider other 3D CAD software including Inventor or Creo.
4. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate and work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
6. Strong mechanical aptitude. (Hands on experience fixing or repairing vehicles is a bonus).
