Aerotek Engineering is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer for a permanent position with our client, a Small Structural Engineering Consulting firm that focuses on blast structural engineering for large Government Agencies. The Junior Structural Engineer will be performing the following job functions:
1) Responsible for support of design and engineering within AutoCAD
2) Producing construction documents and editing existing sections
3) Development of construction take offs, submittals, and working with consultants/ contractors
4) Research and recommend solutions to design documents problems or errors
The Structural Engineer will work primarily in an office environment in Woodbridge, Virgnia.
The Successful candidate for the role of Junior Structural Engineer will have:
-1+ year of structural drafting/design experience for buildings
-Proficient in AutoCAD
-Solid Written and Oral Communication skills
-Must be eligible to be granted US Security Clearance
