Quality Control Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Audit SOP's and work order specifications to ensure Operators are following procedures.

Test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, weight, temperature and performance.

Perform visual inspections on manufacturing line and ensure packaging integrity.

Accurately record and test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.

Conduct standardized tests on products to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Maintain records of testing results or other documents as required by state or other regulatory agencies.

Monitor and control temperature of products.

Analyze test results to classify products or compare results with standard tables.

Provide assistance to management in research and development, and quality control improvements.

Report all food safety violations to management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous Quality Control or Quality Assurance experience within a GMP manufacturing environment; preferably experience within food manufacturing or food packaging industries.

Ability to learn new tasks quickly, ability to multitask, and strong attention to detail.

Familiarity with HACCP and SQF is a plus.
