Job Description:
The Carpenter is responsible for the full range of rough and finished skilled carpentry work. This individual will be forming concrete work for foundations, walls, slab on grade and sidewalk work. After the concrete is poured they will also be taking off the forms and cleaning them for later use. After a building is up they will also be asked to do finish carpentry(Installation of door frames, doors, hardware, base trim and cabinetry).
Qualifications:
-Must have experience with concrete and form-work for concrete(An individual that is experienced in concrete will also have various form-work experience) or Finish Carpentry experience working inside a building after the outside work is complete.
-Must have experience as a carpenter. 2-5+ years of experience is highly preferred.
-Must have commercial experience or a wide range of residential construction.
-Dependability is a must(You cannot showcase your skills if you do not show up to work.)
-This person has to have a sense of urgency as they have a schedule to meet.
Hours:
M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm
This is a standard 40 hour work week. Saturday work may be a possibility in the event that they miss a day during the week. In some cases weather will impact this decision as well. Individual may have the opportunity to work OT, but only if they earn it and they want to. Must be flexible as this is a construction project.
