About this job

One of the largest logistics companies in the Charleston area is hiring an Import/Export Agent to join their team! Great company culture, modern technology, fast-paced environment and tons of career growth!

Duties:
-Perform documentation and data entry of commercial invoices and shipments as they clear through customs
-Confirming shipment status (mainly via email) with clients and other external customers as needed
-Entering any and all necessary data into internal database to import products for customers
-Ensure all information is entered in a timely and accurate manner
-Working with customers to make them aware of what is needed to process all imports
-Handle shipment billings/invoicing as necessary
-Heavy email communications with third parties and other end user customers
-Diffusing issues with customers via heavy email communication

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail
