Medical Biller

Aerotek is hiring for multiple medical billers for a reputable company in Columbia, SC!

Job Description:

* Daily review of accounts to, identify the need for adjustments or guarantor responsibility
* Process Insurance write-offs for bad debt
* Verification and Reconciliation of Insurance payments for claims previously billed in error
* Review and prepare claims for submission to various insurance carriers
* Respond to incoming calls from patients regarding bill discrepancies.
* Correct and resubmit denied claims
* Responsible for daily entry of charges into Medicaid's Web tool (as assigned)
* Responsible for validating CPT& ICD-10 codes to ensure that claims are reimbursable

Job Requirements:

- 3+ years experience in CBO department for providers
- Associates degree and/or certification in Medical Billing is preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, Commercial and Government Billing
