About this job
- Electrical Controls Project Engineer (this is a lead type position, that must come with prior material handling industry experience, and over 5 years experience as a Controls Engineer)
- Controls Engineers (PLC/HMI Programming) and relocation
- Electrical Hardware Design Engineers (AutoCAD design for material handling control systems)
- Controls Engineering Technician (drawing verification's, hardware checkout and testing for electrical control panels)
Core Technologies Needed:
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley RS Logix and Controllogix PLC platforms (programming)
- Ethernet I/P, Controlnet, and Devicenet communications (networking)
- Wonderware, RSview32/ME/SE, Indusoft HMI software highly desired (programming)
- Rockwell or Siemens Variable Frequency drives (programming)
- AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical needed for Project Engineer and Hardware Engineer (design)
Experience/Skills/Knowledge Needed:
- 3 or more years or experience with above technologies, preferably with material handling applications, or other high speed sorting and real time tracking applications (speeds up to 11,000 per hour)
- PLC code development, HMI software development, communication bus design
- Ability to travel to customer sites 25-30% for testing and field commissioning of control systems
- Ability to understand when/how problems could occur, and be able to communicate effectively
- BS in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering etc)
