Aerotek Construction is seeking a qualified Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer��for a position with our client, a successful 8(a) General Contractor specializing in construction projects on military and government facilities in the DC, MD, and VA area. ��The Assistant Project Manager will primarily be responsible for providing support to Senior Project Managers from the office in terms of documentation, communication with specialty contractors, reviewing shop drawings and coordinating the RFI And Submittal process.
Responsibilities for the role of Assistant Project Manager include:
30% - writing RFIs, submittals
40% - managing and coordinating with subcontractors
30% - communicating with subs, reviewing shop drawings and blueprints, etc.
The Successful candidate for the role of Assistant Project Manager will have:

-2-6 years of Experience in General Contracting as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
-Bachelors Degree
-Experience reviewing shop drawings
-Experience with management and coordination of the work of subcontractors
-Proficient in MS Office Suite, Prolog experience is preferable
