Assembler

Our client is looking for some Assembly/Warehouse individuals that are open to being cross trained on the multiple lines and products that they manufacture in house. They are looking for (3 individuals) on the 1st shift. They will be working Monday-Friday with some occasional Saturdays. (will know a head of time if they have to work a Saturday.)

Candidates will be working on several different lines that they have. Bottling; Feed line: Fountain line; and general assembly.

Bottling Line: They batch and mix special chemicals and blend them for the treatment of residential ponds. On this line the candidate will only be retrieving the bottles that are being filled from the machine and making sure that they are properly filled to the right volume; as well as make sure that they are placing the correct label in the right spot. Once finally inspected it will then be packaged into a box and then repeat the process until that product has been fulfilled.

Feed Line: Our client has automatic Fill machines in which the candidate will fill different size bags full of the feed. They have different types of feed that they produce therefore bags can be small or larger. Products all have a description of how much they should weight and which label should be used. The machines fill the bag; the contractor will the place the bag on the industrial weight scale and make sure that it is filled properly. Then they will begin to feed the automatic sealing machine with the bags and it will be sealed shut. Final inspection to make sure it is sealed and then put the proper label on the bag and box it up.

General Assembly Line: On this line the candidates will be using basic hand tools such as screw drivers; and some small hammers just in case they need to hammer down some nails. They will be putting in a fan and a small motor into a fountain fixture. The fixtures already have where the screws are supposed to go, all the candidate has to do is take the pieces that need to be assembled and use the proper hand tools to set the motor in and screw it down; put the fan in and screw it in as well as put the connector at the top to be plugged in for power. Once assembled they will test the motor and fan.

Fountain line: This is for candidates that have a little more electrical knowledge. They will be performing wire connectivity and putting connectors on the end of the Fountains. This takes knowledge of wire stripping, and basic connectivity experience.

All candidates will be cross trained on each line that they have. They prefer that people are able to grasp all the job duties of each line just in case someone is absent and they can remain on schedule for their clients demands.
