About this job

looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. The successful candidate must be familiar with a manufacturing environment, have computer knowledge, a self-starter who pays attention to detail and accuracy and taking responsibility for his/her work.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and troubleshoot complex Electro-Mechanical assemblies using procedures, prints, written instructions or verbal communication. Understand and operate standard electronic test equipment i.e. (dmm, oscilloscopes, d/c power supplies). Operate computer assisted testing equipment.
  • Read and interpret blue prints, engineering change notice and applicable document changes. Interpret schematics, assembly aids, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and repair instructions.   
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing engineering on root cause of failures and resolution as well as process improvements.
  • Cross train in all of the thermal imager assembly process     
  • Soldering Specialist needed to perform soldering, SMT touch-up and basic repair of PCB's (printed circuit boards) to class 3 standards.
  • SMT, through hole and BGA experience.
  • Soldering under a microscope for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required Skills:

  • Final Assembly required, must have attention for details.
  • Experience with FOD and FOD prevention.
  • Candidates must have strong soldering skills, working knowledge of PCB component identification, ability to use microscope, understand/follow work instructions, able to work well within a team environment.
  • Must be computer literate (comfortable accessing computer databases and entering data).
  • Cleanroom experience a big plus (Class 1k-10k preferred).
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Able to use hand tools.
  • Able to read basic written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • Quick learner.

Shift:

1st - 7AM-3:30PM

2nd -3-11:30PM
